Business Development Manager

About This Role

This managerial role guides a sales team to drive customer success and business growth within the life sciences, laboratory products, or related industries. The Account Management Manager will develop and execute strategic sales plans, support teams, and build lasting relationships with key customers, contributing to the company's mission.

Requirements

• Master's Degree plus 8 years of experience in sales in life sciences, laboratory products, or related industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of sales team management experience preferred
• Strong commercial acumen and proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Experience using CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and data analytics tools
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with focus on coaching and developing teams
• Excellent strategic planning and business analysis capabilities
• Strong negotiation and pricing management skills
• Effective presentation and communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key customer relationships
• Proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies
• Experience managing distributor and channel partner relationships
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Demonstrated experience implementing change and supporting continuous improvement
• Strong project management and organizational skills
