Business Development Manager

About This Role

This business development role within AIA Corporate Solutions focuses on direct team sales through direct accounts and affinity sources. You will be responsible for sourcing clientele, building relationships with intermediaries, and collaborating with internal teams to propose optimal deals. Responsibilities

• Achieve team sales goals and meet growth targets
• Assist in developing new avenues of business
• Build and develop existing relationships with intermediaries
• Ensure quotations are issued within a 48-hour turnaround time
• Organize sales and operations training where required for clients and intermediaries
• Liaise mainly with internal stakeholders to achieve positive results
• Handle data and system entry for quotations
• Manage sales quotation activities log

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Powerpoint Skills
• Certifications/licenses: HI, M5 and M9, M9A, BCP, PGI, Com GI
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused
• Good project management and organizational skills
