Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of IT Business Analyst experience within the road transportation industry.
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle On-Board Computer (OBC) deployment .
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle Transportation Management System (TMS) deployment .
- At least 1 year of OBC/TMS application support experience.
- At least 1 year of requirements-gathering and SDLC workshop experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
- Ability to complete all work within the CST time zone.
- Excellent communication, organization, and thought-delivery skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to balance independent exploration with asking intelligent questions and leveraging team expertise.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Nice to Have
- Motive deployment experience.
- Mastery/Mastermind deployment and support experience.
- Road Energy Transportation business experience.
- Snowflake integration experience.
Specific Duties
- Apply an understanding of business needs and requirements and translate that understanding into solutions that improve business processes and technology within the TMS/OBC environment , while maintaining alignment with the global template.
- Work with team members to guide business customers through business case development for new applications and functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis .
- Support Mastery/Motive deployments by reviewing ticket backlogs, prioritizing issues, and driving them through resolution.
- Participate with the team in requirements-gathering and analysis activities to support deployments across additional product lines.
- Develop test plans and test cases , perform functional testing, and ensure effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for assigned applications and objects.
- Support, test, and enhance simple to moderately complex information systems. Work with senior team members to develop appropriate error-management functionality within assigned applications.
- Maintain detailed and accurate technical and business documentation.
- Provide training to new users on supported applications, as requested.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture by following all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and take appropriate action to correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe conditions.
- Participate in unit testing and integration testing activities.
- Provide cutover and hypercare support during application deployments and implementations.
