About This Role
This full-time internship is a learning opportunity for a university student to develop their analytical and technical skills in a business analysis function. You will work on a project that supports your growth, the team, and customer success, contributing fresh perspectives in a fast-paced global business environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple teams across different geographies, building collaborative relationships
- Take ownership of data analysis projects with guidance from mentors, turning data insights into actionable business recommendations
- Identify and propose process improvement opportunities, working with the team to develop streamlined solutions that enhance business efficiency
- Lead root cause analyses for assigned projects, collaborating with team members to solve real business challenges and implement solutions
- Support the development of business cases for new programs, gaining hands-on experience in strategic planning and project development
- Own the maintenance and improvement of specific performance metrics dashboards, while learning advanced visualization techniques
- Develop into a valued team member by bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, while building foundation skills in business analysis
Requirements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL
- Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university bachelor’s or master’s in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a similar discipline
- Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) and commit to 6 month internship
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others
- Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
