Business Analyst, Fuse Billing Operations

About This Role

This Business Analyst role in the Fuse Billing Operations Team focuses on analyzing business trends, defining, and building reporting and analytic solutions to enable scalable data-based product and business decisions. The position involves identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and resolving data discrepancies across multiple internal Amazon and external partner systems. It requires a self-starter who is highly analytical, proficient in SQL and Excel, and passionate about analytics, with excellent communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating from multiple large data sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Solve reconciliation issues by diving deep into the data and implementing solutions to resolve defects
• Communicate complex analyses and insights at scale to stakeholders and senior business leaders, both verbally and in writing
• Proactively identify, analyze, and solve business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and discovering significant forward-looking opportunities
• Create and maintain tools, reports, and analyses which support senior leadership and various teams throughout the organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with SQL
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Nice to have:

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
