About This Role
This Business Analyst role supports the Operations leadership team through daily reporting, data analysis, and business insights. The role involves consolidating operational data, developing dashboards, identifying trends, and enabling informed decision-making. It suits a highly analytical and detail-oriented candidate with strong analytical skills, advanced MS Office expertise, and hands-on experience with AI-powered productivity and analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reports
- Consolidate operational data from multiple centers and departments
- Develop and maintain management dashboards and KPI trackers
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for leadership reviews
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps
- Generate actionable insights to improve business performance
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decisions
- Monitor key business metrics and recommend corrective actions where required
- Design and automate MIS reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Improve reporting efficiency by leveraging AI and automation platforms
- Develop templates that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
- Support senior leadership with presentations, reports, and business reviews
- Prepare board meeting decks, operational reviews, and performance summaries
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze data
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality
- Standardize reporting formats across business units
- Maintain reporting calendars and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Mathematics, or Business Administration
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Advanced Formulas, Dashboards)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Executive presentations)
- Microsoft Word
- Strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard development
- Experience using AI tools for business productivity, including ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
- Experience with Excel AI features
- Experience with AI-assisted data analysis and reporting
- Experience with workflow automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier or similar)
- Ability to leverage AI to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and business insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
