About This Role
The Business Analyst plays a key role in the digital transformation of insurance clients, optimizing and digitizing their core business processes with IT solutions. This position involves strategic consulting for clients on digitization topics with a focus on bAV, managing requirements for software solutions, and ensuring the quality of developed software.
Responsibilities
- Shape digitization: Take on a key role in the digital transformation of insurance clients by optimizing and digitizing core business processes with IT solutions as part of a team
- Provide strategic advice: Advise clients comprehensively on all digitization topics, with a focus on bAV (e.g., mass processing, consulting tools, digital account statements)
- Gather requirements: Take over requirements management for software solutions such as corporate customer portals, employee self-service systems, and consulting tools by formulating user stories and supporting the Product Owner with backlog management
- Ensure quality: Take over test management and technical approvals to ensure the quality of developed software solutions
- Work in a team: Work in a classic or agile cross-functional team to jointly develop high-quality products
Requirements
- Solid education: Completed training as an insurance and finance clerk or a degree in economics, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Insurance and IT experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry, particularly in bAV business processes of a life insurance company and in dealing with IT systems and portals
- Project management skills: Experience in classic and agile project management and ideally knowledge of project controlling
- Absorb and apply new knowledge: Quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas and possess relevant methodological knowledge in consulting
- Active listening and tailored solutions: Able to convince clients with these skills
- AI competence: Confidently use AI tools in your field, critically evaluate results, and support clients and adessi in leveraging the potential of AI
- Language skills: Very good German and good English skills for confident communication
