Business Analyst

About This Role

This Business Analyst role supports IT project managers and business departments from study to implementation, working within the Projects and Solutions division. The position involves analyzing business needs and translating them into IT solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall IT strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and support their translation into IT solutions, in coherence with the IT strategy and architecture
• Liaise between business units, technical teams, and project managers, from needs expression to implementation
• Conduct business analyses, opportunity studies, and impact analyses
• Optimize and simplify processes (BPR)
• Support the definition of needs
• Raise awareness among business units about good digital practices
• Gather, formalize, and prioritize needs
• Facilitate business workshops
• Write functional specifications, requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to specifications and tender documents
• Propose test cases
• Study variants and formulate recommendations
• Ensure requirements traceability
• Work with project managers, architects, technical teams, and suppliers
• Contribute to the change management strategy and analyze organizational impacts
• Facilitate validation workshops
• Participate in functional acceptance testing
• Produce functional documentation, training materials, and user guides
• Support users during deployment

Requirements

• Higher education (Master, Bachelor or equivalent) in IT, management, or engineering, supported by at least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis in an IT environment
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, functional specification writing (use cases, acceptance criteria), and business process optimization (BPR / BPMN)
• Experience with Agile environments (Product Owner / Proxy PO) and/or traditional environments (HERMES, BABOK)
• Proven experience in defining test cases, monitoring functional acceptance, creating training materials, and supporting users through change

Nice to have:

• Certification (CBAP, CCBA, IREB, HERMES)
• Contribution to writing specifications and functional aspects of calls for tenders
