About This Role
This role is for a Business Analyst for a client in the Life Science industry. It involves independently leading end-to-end business analysis activities, translating complex business requirements into actionable solutions, and collaborating with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to understand business needs, align expectations, and ensure effective communication
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Create detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in Jira, manage backlog refinement, and support Product Owners during PI Planning
- Translate business requirements into process models and system flows using BPMN and UML
- Design wireframes and functional mockups using tools such as Figma, Miro, or Lucidchart
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, define use cases, and test and optimize AI-generated responses through prompt engineering
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), solution demos, and user adoption activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a strong track record of independently leading end-to-end BA activities
- Excellent at gathering, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into clear User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and actionable solutions
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban), backlog refinement, and PI Planning
- Confident using Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq
- Practical knowledge of BPMN and UML for process modeling and system documentation
- Skilled at stakeholder management, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with international teams
- Able to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and propose effective business and technical solutions
- Experience supporting UAT, change management, and project documentation
- Interested in AI innovation, including prompt engineering and AI use case development
