About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ Cloud Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading complex Quote-to-Cash transformation projects, ensuring seamless implementation and customization of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications that drive efficient and effective CPQ processes. Your expertise will enable our clients to optimize their product configuration, pricing, quoting, and approval workflows, ultimately enhancing their sales operations and revenue management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of IT/business consulting experience, with at least 2 successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities, including product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and order handoff processes.
• Experience acting as the functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery teams.
• Proven ability to lead requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots.
• Proficiency in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
• Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, renewal, amendments, and contract flows.
• Knowledge of integration points with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP, CRM, and other downstream systems.
• Experience supporting testing phases, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary functional lead for Oracle CPQ Cloud implementation and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and discovery meetings to understand client needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Analyze current-state and future-state Quote-to-Cash processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Design and configure Oracle CPQ product models, configuration rules, pricing rules, quote layouts, and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure configurations and customizations meet business requirements and are aligned with best practices.
• Support integration efforts with Salesforce, ERP, and other systems, defining data flows and validation rules.
• Facilitate business review and sign-off on functional design documents, test scenarios, and key project deliverables.
• Coordinate testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing, ensuring traceability and defect resolution.
• Provide user training, develop SOP documentation, and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
• Assess change requests, evaluate their impact, and support prioritization and release planning.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress through presentations and demonstrations.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and resolution of issues.
