Building Services Technician
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Overview of the role;
The successful candidate would have responsibility for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, which could include, but is not limited to: lamp replacement; carpentry work; plumbing; painting; flooring; general facility repairs.
Role Responsibilities;
- Building Fabric - wall repairs, painting, ceiling/floor tiles - broken tiles, damaged vinyl, carpet tiles Wall mountings - whiteboards, snap frame.
- Carpentry Works – shelves, doors, furniture, storage units.
- Washroom Maintenance - taps, cisterns, toilet.
- Building audits - assisting with room set-ups, furniture movement.
- Permit to work and client procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Participate fully in all required on-site training.
- Ensure that all Veolia company procedures are adhered to and that quality standards are always maintained.
- Establish and develop opportunities to diversify or increase contractual services for the client.
Requirements for the role
- 5 + years' handyman or related experience
- Attention to detail Knowledge in many aspects of repair & maintenance work
- Ability to work alone and within a team
