About the role
Will report as a permanent building substitute at Wilson Elementary School and take over the daily duties and responsibilities of a classroom teacher. Can be assigned at the discretion of the building Administrator to any classroom and any teacher-related job duty.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with personal computer, Chromebooks and instructional equipment
- Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
- Demonstrated ability to reach all types of learners
- The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
- Evidence of effective classroom management skills with age-appropriate experiences
- Excellent communication skills; approachable, friendly and available
- Current New York State Teaching Certification(Preferred)
