Bridge Project Manager

About This Role

This project management role focuses on engineering structures and infrastructure projects, primarily overseeing design and construction phases. It suits an experienced civil engineer with a background in bridge and infrastructure design and construction, who will manage projects from conception to completion within the Structures department.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects
• Handle client relationships and contract management
• Oversee project managers, design engineers, and drafters
• Control projects
• Perform calculation notes
• Ensure client satisfaction
• Guarantee project profitability
• Monitor deadlines and budget adherence
• Define the necessary means for project execution and organize the different phases
• Coordinate and lead the project team (project managers, design engineers, drafters, etc.)
• Take responsibility for the different phases, mission elements, and deadlines
• Ensure project delivery at the expected quality level
• Act as the primary client contact and ensure follow-up with the client and other project partners
• Manage the financial and contractual aspects of the project
• Report regularly to the department head

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Bridge Structures or Civil Engineering (ESTP, INSA, ARTS et METIERS, CENTRALE, ENTPE, POLYTECH, ENISE, etc.)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management for specialized bridge and civil engineering operations
• Excellent command of IT and office tools
• Strong knowledge of structure design and calculation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Organized and adheres to procedures
• Highly rigorous and autonomous in work
