The Role
As a Brand Designer on Mistral’s Design team, you will shape and evolve Mistral’s visual identity, ensuring it resonates globally. This role exists to create a cohesive and compelling brand experience across all surfaces and touchpoints. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align visual assets with Mistral’s mission, amplifying its impact in the AI space.
What You Will Do
- Design engaging assets for campaigns, social media, websites, events, and product interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with our marketing, comms, events, product, engineering, and design teams to integrate brand guidelines into every output.
- Develop graphics, presentations, infographics, and collateral that communicate Mistral’s values and levels up its quality.
- Create tools, templates, and guidelines to enable teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content autonomously.
- Monitor design trends and best practices to keep Mistral’s visual identity fresh and relevant.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Brand Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates brand identity development and graphic design expertise.
- Mastery of design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and print design best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams and bring cohesive brand experiences to life.
- A proactive mindset to stay ahead of design trends and apply them strategically.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and advocate for brand consistency.
