About This Role
Designing the company's external presence is at the heart of this job. You will be the sole in-house brand designer, taking ownership of a wide variety of creative requests from across the business to ensure everything the company presents to the world looks excellent. This role suits a self-starter who thrives on variety, has strong creative instincts, and is comfortable working with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Be the creative eyes and hands of Beam, ensuring everything presented to the world looks as good as the mission deserves
- Design across a huge range of formats, including presentations, web pages, event materials, merch, print, video, and animation
- Take loose briefs and make them brilliant by asking the right questions, filling gaps with good judgment, and delivering something better than what was asked for
- Champion the brand everywhere by spotting inconsistencies and helping to fix them
- Iterate without ego, taking feedback in your stride and returning with fresh directions
- Grow your own skillset by learning new tools and techniques as needed
Requirements
- 1-2 years as an in-house or agency designer
- A portfolio showing strong creative instincts
- Genuine enthusiasm for B2B/tech-adjacent brand work, within professional constraints
- Animation experience is ideal, but open to learning on the job
