Brand Designer

About This Role

This role will shape and evolve Mistral’s visual identity, ensuring it resonates globally. It exists to create a cohesive and compelling brand experience across all surfaces and touchpoints, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align visual assets with Mistral’s mission and amplify its impact in the AI space.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging assets for campaigns, social media, websites, events, and product interfaces
• Collaborate closely with marketing, comms, events, product, engineering, and design teams to integrate brand guidelines into every output
• Develop graphics, presentations, infographics, and collateral that communicate Mistral’s values and level up its quality
• Create tools, templates, and guidelines to enable teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content autonomously
• Monitor design trends and best practices to keep Mistral’s visual identity fresh and relevant

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Brand Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates brand identity development and graphic design expertise
• Mastery of design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and print design best practices
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams and bring cohesive brand experiences to life
• A proactive mindset to stay ahead of design trends and apply them strategically
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and advocate for brand consistency
