About the role
Role & responsibilities
1. Understand business requirements and develop mapping specs.
2. Design and develop reusable integration components and participate in design sessions with architects and developers.
3. Strong API knowledge with different authentication types. Should be able to connect with multiple SaaS applications.
4. Have good knowledge on multiple connectors like IFS, HTTPS, SFTP, Application connector etc.
5. Develop integration interfaces using Boomi with end-to-end error handling.
6. Implement logging, exception handling in addition to functional business requirements.
7. Follow approved configuration management, coding standards, and version control policies.
8. Investigate defects, present solutions with accurate estimates of work effort and implement the solution on time and on budget.
9. Conduct impact analysis to existing applications / in-flight projects due to architecture changes.
10. Independently debug and troubleshoot errors/exceptions and resolve issues.
11. Create technical documentation and architectural proposals for peer review.
12. Deploy code in higher environments.
13. Learn about other applications integrating with Boomi to collaborate effectively with other teams for system integration testing.
14. Create and maintain features/user stories/tasks in Agile board.
15. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as: sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
16. Regularly report user stories/task status to Architect / Project Manager / Customer.
Must have skills:
1. 4+ years of experience in system integrations using Boomi.
2. Strong hands-on experience in Boomi Connectors such as: Disk, FTP, SFTP, Database, Sales force, Web Services Listener, HTTP Client, SAP, Web Services SOAP Client.
3. Strong expertise on mappings with different data formats in Boomi such as: JSON, XML, and CSV, Database.
4. Strong expertise in debugging and performance Improvement in Boomi.
5. Strong expertise in source control repositories such as: Azure DevOps, Git etc.
6. Strong expertise in build, deployment, and release process.
7. Prior experience in Agile methodology, preferably Scrum framework.
8. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Experienced in customer-faced roles.
