📍 Pittsburgh, PA 15017 💲 $55,000–$70,000 | Full-Time About The Opportunity Take full ownership of the books in a role where your work truly makes an impact. Our client in Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting operations from start to finish.
This is a hands-on position with strong visibility and the opportunity to work closely with leadership while keeping financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. If you value autonomy and enjoy being the go-to person for all things accounting, this could be a great fit.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- The Bookkeeper will perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries
- The Bookkeeper will manage month-end close activities and prepare financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- The Bookkeeper will assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
- Work closely with leadership to address accounting questions and financial needs
Qualifications Of The Bookkeeper Role
- 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and full-cycle bookkeeping processes
- Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
