About This Role
This Boilermaker role is a field service and workshop position, supporting mining industry customers and workshop operations with equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. The role suits a motivated, safety-conscious tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair FLS equipment to high-quality OEM standards
- Undertake repairs, servicing, and maintenance in the workshop and at customer sites
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, identify defects, and recommend practical repair solutions
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist in restoring equipment availability while minimising downtime
- Assist customers with equipment commissioning, servicing, and ongoing maintenance requirements
- Prepare clear photographic reports, document findings, and provide recommendations to customers
- Deliver work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and technical standards
- Work closely with customers, contractors, and your team to deliver reliable solutions and maintain high standards
Requirements
- Recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
- Previous field service experience, ideally working with fixed plant equipment in mining or mineral processing
- Experience with wash plant equipment will be highly regarded
- Strong skills in equipment maintenance, repairs, and fault identification
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
- Confidence communicating with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Strong time management, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to use digital systems to complete service reports, documentation, and work records
