This role combines personal safety and transportation, providing security to an employer during official duties, travel, and daily activities. It suits a vigilant and reliable individual with strong driving skills and a background in security.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety protection to the employer during official duties, travel, or daily activities
- Drive the employer to designated destinations safely, carefully, and on time
- Plan the most suitable travel routes, considering safety, traffic, and punctuality factors
- Conduct basic risk assessments of locations and environments before the employer's arrival when required
- Remain vigilant for any threats or situations that could affect the employer's safety and take appropriate action
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and safe to use
- Conduct daily checks on the vehicle, including engine oil, tires, brakes, lights, and fuel level
- Ensure the confidentiality of the employer's information, travel schedule, and affairs is always maintained
- Be prepared to work outside office hours, on weekends, or public holidays if required
- Assist in performing administrative or other duties as directed by management from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a personal driver, bodyguard, or in the security field
- Experience or training in personal security is an advantage
- Good physical fitness and ability to act calmly in emergency situations
- Possess a valid driving license (Class D) with a good driving record
- Proficient with routes in the Klang Valley and surrounding areas
- Disciplined, responsible, trustworthy, and possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- No criminal record and willing to undergo background checks if required
