About the role
One of our clients, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their Children's Community Program in Cherry Hill, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team that provides evidence-based ABA services in a community residential setting. The team includes professionals from behavior analysis, nursing, psychiatry, and operations, all working together to improve outcomes for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), preference assessments, and behavioral evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans.
- Analyze behavioral data and make data-driven treatment recommendations.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Behavior Support Specialists and other clinical staff.
- Train caregivers and staff on behavior intervention strategies and best practices.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning.
- Support admission, transition, and discharge planning for individuals receiving services.
- Serve as the behavioral expert for the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Participate in clinical research, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license required (or eligible to obtain).
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience conducting functional assessments and developing behavior intervention plans preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
