About This Role
This role focuses on designing and developing enterprise-grade backend services using Java, building APIs and microservices for digital asset products, and implementing blockchain-related business logic. It involves integrating external blockchain networks and collaborating within cross-functional agile teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java
- Build APIs and microservices supporting digital asset products
- Develop scalable and resilient systems aligned with banking standards
- Ensure high availability, security, performance, and maintainability
- Implement blockchain-related business logic and workflows
- Develop components supporting smart contract interactions, minting and burning processes, asset transfer flows, and wallet management capabilities
- Integrate external blockchain networks into client digital asset ecosystem
- Build integrations with digital asset custody and wallet providers
- Develop connectivity with blockchain infrastructure and third-party services
- Collaborate on SaaS blockchain platform implementation initiatives
- Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions
- Contribute to operational readiness and production support activities
- Support compliance, audit, and security requirements
- Work within cross-functional agile teams
- Partner with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Security Specialists, Product Owners, and Blockchain Operations professionals
- Support technical mentoring and knowledge sharing across engineering teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles
- Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology domains
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in Agile organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above)
- Strong experience in Java (preferred), Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies, SQL and NoSQL databases, Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development workflows
- Good understanding of distributed systems, system integration, API design, scalability patterns
