Job Description We are looking for a Billing Specialist to manage customer invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. This role involves handling sensitive financial data and requires a background check and credit screening prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Process incoming payments and reconcile against account records
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Maintain accurate billing records in compliance with company policies
- Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with collections team
- Prepare weekly and monthly billing reports for management review
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential financial account information
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and credit screening
- No prior billing experience required — full training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
