Bilingual Legal Assistant Legal

About This Role

Working closely with a collaborative team, the Bilingual Legal Assistant supports personal injury cases throughout the pre-litigation process. This role suits a motivated and detail-oriented individual dedicated to providing exceptional client service and meaningful support to those served.

Responsibilities

• Open and set up new client files
• Open and report claims to insurance companies
• Place statutory lien holders on notice
• Draft representation letters
• Request police reports
• Order medical records and billing documentation
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and related parties
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, case managers, and fellow team members
• Assist with administrative and case management support as needed

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Ideally 1+ year of experience in a similar role or equivalent education
• Computer literate and proficient with standard office productivity software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor

Nice to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or administrative experience
