Bilingual Corporate Trainer

About This Role

This full-time, on-site position is responsible for designing, delivering, and updating training programs for plant staff, supervisors, and other team members, with a focus on food safety, work safety, quality standards, and operational procedures. The role suits a candidate with a positive personality and the ability to influence and teach all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group training sessions
• Facilitate hands-on instruction on the production floor
• Provide ongoing coaching to reinforce best practices
• Maintain training materials
• Track completion and compliance
• Collaborate with operations and HR to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions
• Support onboarding of new hires and temporary employees
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture
• Ensure training aligns with USDA, OSHA, and SQF regulations as well as company-specific requirements

Requirements

• Instructional design and facilitation skills, including experience creating training materials, leading workshops, and delivering presentations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train diverse teams and build trust across production and management staff
• Ability to read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish
• Organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining training records, tracking compliance, and managing multiple training schedules
• Ability to work on-site in a production environment, including standing for extended periods, working in a cold environment, and conducting hands-on training on the floor
• Experience in corporate training, employee development, or related roles
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) for training content and recordkeeping

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of food manufacturing, food safety, and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs, sanitation practices)
• Background in meat or food production
• Experience working with Alchemy training software
• Relevant education such as a degree or certification in Training and Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
