Our client is a leading professional services organisation helping clients navigate complexity, solve meaningful challenges, and deliver lasting impact.

They are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to bring their expertise, experience, and ideas to life through compelling proposals, tenders, and client submissions.

This role sits at the centre of their growth efforts, working closely with their people to capture knowledge, translate technical expertise into clear and engaging client-focused content, and ensure every submission reflects the quality of their work and the value they deliver.

You’ll be part writer, part coordinator, part knowledge curator, helping shape how the organisation presents itself to market.

About the Role

As Bid Manager, you’ll coordinate and develop high-quality bids, proposals, capability statements, and supporting collateral that help win new work and strengthen client relationships.

You’ll work across the organisation to gather information from subject matter experts, shape compelling narratives, maintain knowledge assets, and ensure submissions are delivered to a consistently high standard.

You’ll also play an important role in how the organisation uses AI and automation to improve the way knowledge is captured, content is created, and opportunities are responded to.

What You’ll Do

Develop Winning Proposals

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, proposals, and capability statements
  • Gather insights and content from subject matter experts and business leaders
  • Write, edit, and tailor responses that clearly communicate capability, experience, and value
  • Ensure submissions are professional, compliant, client-focused, and delivered on time
  • Manage timelines, reviews, approvals, and version control throughout the proposal process

Curate Knowledge & Capability

  • Maintain and continuously improve a library of case studies, methodologies, project examples, CVs, and reusable content
  • Capture and package organisational knowledge into compelling client-facing collateral
  • Ensure content remains current, relevant, and aligned with brand and market positioning
  • Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback from completed submissions

Drive Better Ways of Working

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve proposal development and content management
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency while maintaining quality
  • Contribute to the evolution of proposal tools, templates, and knowledge systems

Connect People & Ideas

  • Work closely with leaders and subject matter experts across the organisation
  • Bring together diverse perspectives and expertise to create cohesive, compelling submissions
  • Help ensure the organisation’s best thinking is reflected in every proposal

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in bid management, proposal writing, tender coordination, communications, marketing, or a similar role within a professional services or complex organisation
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, persuasive content
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
  • A curious mindset and interest in using AI and digital tools to improve how work gets done
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work

Why Join

You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing environment where people care about creating meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.

This is an opportunity to shape how the organisation’s expertise is presented to market, contribute to important growth initiatives, and be part of the evolution of how work is delivered through innovation, technology, and AI.

If you’re a strong writer, an organised coordinator, and someone who enjoys bringing together knowledge, people, and ideas to tell a compelling story, this role offers a great next step.

Equal Opportunity

This organisation is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. Applications are encouraged from all backgrounds regardless of gender, age, disability, cultural background, or sexual orientation.
