Bid Manager

About This Role

This role involves the technical evaluation of renewable energy projects during their development phase, focusing on leading, coordinating, and supervising the preparation of technical investment reports. The Bid Manager ensures the quality and consistency of these reports, integrating technical, economic, and risk aspects to support sound investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of technical investment reports
• Supervise and support regional teams in preparing technical reports, ensuring homogeneity in standards, quality, and evaluation criteria
• Compile and validate inputs from the Business Development area, ensuring the technical and economic viability of projects
• Integrate the requirements of the Operation and Maintenance area, anticipating key aspects for the operational phase of assets
• Request, coordinate, and follow up on internal Engineering and Construction deliverables
• Ensure the consistency, completeness, and quality of technical reports, guaranteeing their alignment with the corporate structure and standards
• Present, defend, and explain the results of technical reports to internal departments and decision committees
• Identify risks, limitations, and technical opportunities of projects

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or similar)
• Experience as a Project Manager in engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors
• Excellent coordination and management skills for multidisciplinary and multi-regional projects
• Communication and synthesis skills to interact with different departments and hierarchical levels
• Analytical thinking and a global vision to integrate technical, economic, risk, and operational aspects
• Results-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Advanced level of English (oral and written)
• Microsoft Project
• Excel
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and sustainability standards applicable to renewable energy projects
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project management and at least 1 year leading teams
