Job Requirements*

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient BI Analyst to support and maintain existing Power BI reporting solutions while assisting with ad hoc analytics and data requests across multiple business and technology teams. This role requires someone who can quickly understand complex datasets, proactively identify solutions, and effectively translate business needs into actionable reporting insights.

Our team is a small, collaborative group focused on continuously improving how we deliver analytics and business solutions. While current responsibilities will primarily involve supporting and enhancing existing Power BI reporting, we are actively adopting AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to accelerate development, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation. We are looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, and excited to leverage emerging technologies to work smarter and deliver value more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.

Support ad hoc reporting, analytics, and data requests from business and technology stakeholders.

Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

Quickly learn and understand business processes, data structures, operational readiness metrics, and reporting requirements across multiple teams and workstreams.

Monitor report performance, data quality, refresh processes, and user support requests.

Document reporting logic, data sources, and key business rules as needed.

Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to accelerate analysis, report development, troubleshooting, documentation, and learning.

Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to identify process improvements and deliver business solutions.

Take ownership of assigned work, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications Strong understanding of Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, DAX, and report performance optimization.

Experience supporting and maintaining reporting solutions in a business environment.

Experience working with data from multiple systems and business domains.

Ability to quickly learn complex business processes, datasets, and reporting requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team environment.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and evolving business needs.

Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve productivity, accelerate learning, and streamline solution delivery.

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting operational readiness, program management, technology, healthcare, or enterprise reporting initiatives.

Experience with Azure, Databricks, SharePoint, SQL, or other enterprise data platforms as data sources.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, learning new subject matter quickly, and taking ownership of their work. They are naturally curious, resourceful, and comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and deliver solutions more efficiently. They thrive in collaborative environments, embrace continuous learning, and aren't afraid to explore new approaches when tackling challenges.

While Power BI support and maintenance will be the primary focus of this role, we are looking for someone who is excited about the future of analytics, willing to learn alongside the team, and interested in contributing to an evolving technology landscape.
