About the role
Role Overview Provides behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, discharge planning, and consultation to support patients and families in coping with hospitalization, illness, and emotional or substance abuse disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health assessments to identify issues affecting patients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with appropriate interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention, individual, family, group, and grief therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, offering leadership from a mental health perspective.
- Document assessments, interventions, and interactions per organizational standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some roles may require certification).
- Master's Degree in counseling or related field.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required.
- Preferred experience includes crisis intervention, therapy, and working with behavioral health clients.
