Behavior Technician

About This Role

Providing direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities is the core of the Behavior Technician role. This position suits reliable, compassionate, and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA services in accordance with each client’s individualized treatment plan.
• Implement behavior-reduction and skill-acquisition programs developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and accurately record session data to measure client progress.
• Complete clear, accurate, and timely session documentation.
• Follow behavior support plans, clinical protocols, and guidance provided by the supervising clinical team.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and other team members.
• Share relevant observations with caregivers and the clinical team while directing clinical questions and recommendations to the appropriate supervisor.
• Attend scheduled sessions consistently and arrive prepared and on time.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and appropriate treatment environment.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, team meetings, and performance feedback.
• Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Promptly report clinical, safety, scheduling, or documentation concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience in applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
