About the role
Role:
Early Childhood Educator supporting children in out-of-school programs on school grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
- Implement curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
- Partner with parents to ensure quality care and education.
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Build relationships with families, educators, licensing authorities, and community partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
- Preferred: 2-3 years early childhood experience, Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, state trainer approval.
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-specific qualifications.
- Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Compensation & Benefits:
Range from $13.35 to $28.00 hourly, with benefits including discounted child care, health insurance, mental health support, wellness programs, paid time off, and discounts on work necessities.
