Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests enthusiastically, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a fun, energetic environment.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a sports bar or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and spirits handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service.
- Ability to develop beverage recipes and stay current with industry trends in brewing and mixology.
- Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality industry preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong math skills for retail math, basic math calculations, and cash handling accuracy.
