Job Title: Bartender, Giovanni's Pizzeria & Kitchen

We are currently seeking Bartender to join our Giovanni's team!

Our growing Italian restaurant is looking for a Bartender to join our team and help us bring authentic flavors and memorable dining experiences to our guests. With our handcrafted pastas & pizzas, we’re committed to delivering the warmth of Italy in every dish—and we need team members like you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and practicing our mission, values, and objectives
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of liquors, wines, and beers
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Skilled in multi-tasking
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and maintain a high level of accountability
- Must be able to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to submit and pass a background check

- Eagerness to lead while cultivating a healthy and collaborative team environment
Typical Environment:
- We are a fast-casual dining pizzeria, restaurant, and bar
- Be prepared to stand for prolonged periods of time and handle products, tools, paperwork, and equipment
- All Team Members may be requested to work with cleaning chemicals as well as be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, steam, and cold, which are present in a kitchen environment
- Our team members regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with a team
