Bartender

About This Role

Working as a bartender involves setting up and maintaining the bar, preparing drinks, and serving guests in a friendly and courteous manner. This role requires adherence to all regulations regarding alcoholic beverages and maintaining accurate records of sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, including requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projections from the forecast
• Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served
• Follow all company cashier processes and procedures
• Lock up and store all beverage, food, and other equipment items, complete necessary side work and cleaning duties
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
• Service tables in restaurant area as needed

Requirements

• Certified Food Handler (Required)
• Alcohol Awareness Cert (Required)
