About the role
Duties
80% - Prepares a limited variety of alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish where a working knowledge of the various mixed drinks is required. Serves patrons directly or delivers to waiter. Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes and returns change to patrons or waiter. Works from drink recipes and is held strictly accountable for pre-measuring drinks to meet retail accountability requirements.
15% - Sets up bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains work area neat and clean. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Stocks bars as needed. Required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability.
5% - Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Able to read and comprehend English and write legibly. A minimum of 6 months practical experience preferred. Must have working knowledge of sanitation procedures. Employment is conditional on the successful completion of a National Agency Check (NACI).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
