This barber role is for a passionate grooming and style expert who will deliver exceptional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere where clients return for top-tier service, combining technical skill with outstanding customer service to elevate the grooming experience for every guest. Weekend availability is specifically required.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, trimming, and shaving services tailored to each client's preferences
- Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and recommend suitable styles or products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Upsell grooming products and retail items to enhance the client experience and support business growth
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and handling payments
- Foster excellent communication with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with every service
- Keep workstations organized and adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the day
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques suitable for various hair types and styles
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to maintain a clean working environment
- Ability to upsell products confidently without being pushy, enhancing client satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain service options
- Experience in retail sales to promote grooming products effectively
- Competence in managing front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and cash handling
