About This Role
Working carefully and keeping a tidy bar will fit well in the lively, high-energy restaurant and bar setting of Wild Eagle Saloon. This role supports the bartending team, ensuring the bar runs smoothly during busy shifts. The ideal candidate is energetic, team-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies
- Keep bar stations stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service
- Refill ice bins, replenish beverages, and restock coolers throughout the shift
- Wash, polish, and organize glassware as needed
- Clear empty glasses, bottles, and other items from bar areas
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, counters, storage areas, and surrounding workspaces
- Communicate with bartenders and management regarding low inventory and supply needs
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and other team members to maintain efficient service
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Previous barback, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to multitask and remain focused during busy shifts
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, and move supplies as required, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must meet applicable age requirements for the position and comply with Ohio alcohol service laws and company policies
