We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Bar Team Leader to join our venues at Australia’s largest hotel.
As Australia’s largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

The Role:
Dundee Arms is one of Sydney’s oldest pubs, serving locals since 1860. Located on Sussex Street, it’s known for its historic charm and classic pub atmosphere. Enjoy pub favourites like schnitzel, fish and chips, or a burger with a pint. A slice of Sydney history and a proper local pub.
Located in the heart of the hotel, Lobby Lounge offers a place for old friends and new to connect and relax. An intimate space wrapped in nautical rope, Lobby Lounge pays homage to the harbourside location while exuding a casual elegance.
Our ideal Bar Team Leader is someone who has a passion for their craft and can effectively cascade their knowledge and experience on to the wider bar team. They will work closely with the Bar Manager to maximise profitability with minimal cost, whilst achieving a high standard of service and maximum guest satisfaction.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous bar and floor experience in a similar environment
- Previous experience with leading and coaching a team
- Strong knowledge on classic and signature cocktails
- An ability to thrive under pressure and work in a high paced environment
- Ability to provide professional customer service
- Excellent presentation and grooming
- Strong communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current RSA
- Must be available to work on a flexible, rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
