Bar Manager

About This Role

This Bar Manager role involves overseeing all bar operations, from staff management and inventory to menu creation and customer service, within Greece's leading hotel chain. It suits a candidate with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of mixology, ready to contribute to a luxury hospitality brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the bar staff, including bartenders and baristas
• Plan and coordinate bar operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies
• Create and update cocktail menus and beverage offerings
• Train and develop staff on mixology techniques, menu knowledge, and customer service skills
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Bar Manager in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and customers
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and wine
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
• Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
