Bakery Clerk

About This Role

The Bakery Clerk executes all tasks professionally, responsibly, accurately, and quickly. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, contributing to customer loyalty, responding to their needs, and promoting an engaging environment for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Respect food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, company policies, and other programs and initiatives
• Provide customer service that meets customer needs
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Prepare grocery orders
• Execute programs and merchandise products
• Handle and prepare bakery products
• Actively promote products to increase in-store sales
• Participate in training new employees
• Order and receive stock according to company inventory control procedures, as needed
• Manage losses in the department
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to company requirements
• Perform other tasks as needed
