We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Administrator to manage and support our enterprise backup infrastructure across three sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IBM Storage Protect (TSM) environments.
- Manage backup, recovery, retention policies, and storage pools.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot backup/recovery issues.
- Perform restore and disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain documentation and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure (Network, Wintel, Security) and DBA teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in IBM Storage Protect (TSM) v8+ on AIX and Linux.
- Experience with Storage Protect for VE , VMware, tape libraries, and tape management.
- Knowledge of S3, NDMP, RMAN, TDP, DB2 SQL .
- Scripting skills in Shell (Bash/KSH), Python, and SQL .
- English level B2-C1 .
Nice to Have
- Dell, IBM, or Hitachi storage technologies.
- IBM Power Systems (AIX/Linux on Power).
- ITIL knowledge.
