Back End Developer

About This Role

Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the backend applications and APIs that power the company's systems is the core of this role. It suits a developer experienced in modern backend technologies who can translate technical requirements into efficient, scalable code and ensure data integrity across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and APIs using modern backend technologies
• Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and well-structured code
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability in system design and implementation
• Design and manage databases, writing optimized queries and stored procedures
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across platforms
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate APIs smoothly and ensure great user experiences
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional features
• Maintain organized, well-documented, and reusable code
• Use Gits for code management, reviews, and collaboration
• Participate in testing and debugging to maintain code quality
• Suggest and implement improvements that enhance system performance or developer productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiar with Git version control
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and backend architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Must be able to communicate with clients in Chinese
• Experience dealing directly with customers
• Experience in at least 2 of the following programming languages:
  • IOS-Object C
  • Android Java
  • Backend Go
  • Backend Vue 3
