Role Overview The Automotive Technician / Mechanic diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles efficiently, adhering to dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. They perform diagnostics based on certification level, execute repairs outlined on inspection and repair orders, and communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly to customers and team members. Maintaining safety procedures, renewing ASE certifications, and documenting work accurately are essential duties.
Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 18 years old. Preference for one or more active ASE certifications or equivalent experience. Valid driver’s license essential. Ability to work flexible days, including Saturday.
Physical And Working Conditions Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures with exposure to noise and fumes. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
