As an Automotive Service Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our maintenance team, ensuring vehicle reliability and safety for our customers. You will utilize your diagnostic expertise to resolve complex mechanical issues, helping to keep our community moving safely on the road.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and repairs on critical vehicle systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, and engine performance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and shop safety, ensuring all repairs meet rigorous performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with team members to share technical knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Execute precise repairs on cooling, heating, and drivetrain systems to restore optimal vehicle functionality.
- Manage shop workflow efficiently, ensuring timely completion of service tasks while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive repair or military vehicle maintenance.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical system failures.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Current ASE Certifications, specifically in Steering, Suspension, or Brakes.
- Possession of a state inspection license or MAC certification.
- Experience mentoring junior technicians or participating in technical training programs.
