Automotive Sales Consultant

About This Role

Working with customers to help them select vehicles and understand their features, financing options, and services is the core of this sales consultant role. The position involves presenting new and pre-owned vehicles, conducting test drives, and maintaining customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with vehicle selection and promote model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
• Conduct vehicle test drives and ensure all speed limits and other rules of the road are followed
• Help facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
• Maintain accurate sales documentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
• Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional and dependable
• Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Safety and customer service oriented
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
