About the role
Role Overview: The Senior Automotive and Diesel Technician ensures accurate and efficient vehicle repairs by qualified technicians, maintaining high customer satisfaction. They diagnose, repair, and explain technical issues to customers and staff, following safety protocols and company standards.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose vehicles based on certification/experience level, perform multi-point inspections and complex repairs, document recommendations, and communicate effectively. Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and demonstrate flexibility in work schedules.
Qualifications: Prior automotive/mechanic experience or ASE certifications, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical school experience is preferred.
Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in environments with noise, fumes, and varying temperatures. PPE use may be required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
