Job Summary
Mobile Service Technicians will complete air conditioning service, automotive repairs, on site scanning support, wire repairs and diagnostics within their market area.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency
- Perform Air Conditioning Evacuation & Recharge
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical repairs
- Understand and complete estimating, invoicing, part identification, pre and post quality control checklists
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and repair planning needs to include shop personnel, insurance adjusters, and customers
- Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and Virtual support team resources to make the most effective recommendations
- Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed
- Check all parts for quality and accuracy before installing
- Complete assigned training and certifications, to include continuing education courses
- Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Maintain a well-organized work area
- Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately
- Accountable for assigned inventory
- Including: Laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years automotive repair experience
- Trade school experience a plus
- ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus
- Knowledge of diagnostic scan tools and factory software
- Obtain AC certification & follow safety standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
- Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
- Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
- Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
- Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
- Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
- May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
- Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
- Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
