The Role
- Ensure automated systems are working optimally for timely order fulfillment
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair issues with key systems and Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Provide data visualisations of troubleshooting to internal stakeholders
- Own or actively participate in continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate with departments to ensure systems are documented and backup libraries are maintained
- Install and commission new equipment with global colleagues and support other sites in the EU Controls network
What You'll Need
- Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment
- Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems
- Engineering Degree (HND, HNC, BTEC, NVQ III/IV/V, Ieng, CEng, ILM L3+, or accredited apprenticeship with qualifications)
- Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies conforming to IEC 61131-3
