About the role
Growing global supplier of advanced automation, assembly, testing, welding, and material handling systems serving automotive and diversified industrial markets. The OEM Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth within assigned North American automotive OEM accounts. This position serves as the primary customer interface for business development, quotation activities, commercial negotiations, and long-term account management of End-of-Line (EOL) testing and assembly automation systems.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with consultative selling skills to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships, and coordinate internal resources to deliver profitable solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in automation systems, custom machinery, assembly systems, welding automation, or capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and End-of-Line testing systems.
- Proven success managing strategic customer relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Traveling up to approximately 20%
