Auto Mechanic - Petrol

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain petrol/gasoline vehicles.
• Perform engine troubleshooting, servicing, and overhauling.
• Identify and repair issues related to fuel, ignition, cooling, and lubrication systems.
• Carry out engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacement, and routine maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools/scanners.
• Repair and maintain braking, suspension, steering, and transmission systems.
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical problems before major breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per manufacturer recommendations.
• Replace faulty components and ensure proper installation.
• Conduct road tests after repairs to verify vehicle performance and safety.
• Maintain proper service records and report major technical issues to the supervisor.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Petrol Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Strong knowledge of petrol engine systems and vehicle diagnostics.
• Experience with diagnostic scanners and automotive tools.
• Knowledge of modern fuel injection and electronic engine management systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• UAE/GCC workshop experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fixed salary + Accommodation, OT, Insurance, Annual Leave & Tickets

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
